About the Role
PRG Company is hiring a passionate and performance-driven AR Executive to become part of our growing Medical Billing team. This role is ideal for individuals who are eager to build a strong career in Revenue Cycle Management and have the ability to handle claim follow-ups with confidence and professionalism.
As an AR Executive, you will play a key role in improving cash flow by ensuring insurance claims are processed, followed up, and resolved efficiently. The position requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work under pressure while maintaining accuracy and compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform daily follow-up on outstanding insurance claims to ensure timely reimbursements
- Analyze denied or delayed claims and take corrective actions for resolution
- Communicate with insurance representatives regarding claim status and payment issues
- Verify patient insurance coverage, eligibility, and benefits information
- Update billing records and maintain accurate account documentation
- Identify billing errors and coordinate with relevant departments for corrections
- Submit appeals and necessary documentation for denied claims when required
- Maintain productivity targets while delivering quality work
- Follow HIPAA guidelines and company compliance policies at all times
- Contribute to process improvement and revenue optimization initiatives
Required Qualifications & Skills
- At least 6 months of experience in Accounts Receivable (AR) or Medical Billing
- Basic understanding of insurance claims, denial management, and reimbursement cycles
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Good analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Proficiency in MS Office and medical billing software is a plus
- Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and grow professionally
